Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument - Arizona
The desert southwest is especially nice in the spring. Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument are my southern favorites. Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is located in Southwest Arizona, south of Organ Pipe Cactus
Sonoran Desert, Arizona, on the Mexican border. It is about 150 miles south of Phoenix and 130 miles west of Tucson. Something special about the light and colors in the desert. The air is clear and colors rich even in the dry periods, the colors are vibrant with rich sage and amber tones. Spring the endless shades of greens and spots of color are delightful. So many tiny little flowers just appear between rocks you have to stop and admire and take some pictures of course.
